Playing of audio and video files

Built-in player allows playing audio and video files directly from the server without downloading them to the computer.

Files of MP3, AVI, and FLV format can be played from any position, but not only from the beginning.

It is possible to download file fragments of specified formats. After downloading occurs fragments conversion into valid video files (for AVI and FLV), which can be viewed by any player.

Files review and download from archives

The program allows to browse the contents of archives the same way as the contents of normal folders at the server.

Any file from the archive could be downloaded to the computer without downloading the whole archive.

When you double click on the file from the archive it'll be opened by the program, associated with file's extension (e.g. Notepad for TXT, MS Word for DOC). Also it is possible to open in the same way normal, not archived files.

Additional information review

For the video files of AVI format:

codec (video- and audio-);
bit rate (video- and audio-);
video resolution;
amount of audio channels.

And also quick preview of any AVI-video frame is realized, which allows:

visually evaluate video quality;
review actor's cast of the film;
and even to learn the plot a little bit.

For the audio files of MP3 format:

name and number of track;
album, year of release;
artist;
bitrate.

For the photos of JPEG format:

shooting date and time;
camera model;
shooting conditions;
and even the program for the photo processing before publishing in the Internet.

Photo preview is realized during downloading, which allows to break download in the case of needless.

HTTP - protocol support

The program allows performing all mentioned above operations with the files, which are located not only at the ftp-servers, but also at the normal websites. To do this, in browse it is necessary to point the link to the necessary file, and not the path to the ftp-server.

For more convenience the integration of the program into Internet Explorer browser is realized. After the appearing of browser's contextual menu there will be the item in it "Open in SmartFTPPlayer".
